We live in the split second between the bomb’s detonation and the obliteration of reality as we know it. Our old selves have been destroyed; we know why and we’ve seen how and we’ve been given the proof of their impending destruction - but we still see them clearly as humanity slows all around us in painful recognition of how little time it has been given.

We live in the gap, claiming full rights to our new creations in Christ as they were handed over the moment the bomb was lit, yet still wading through the weight of our death.

Help us to see only who we are now and who we will be, instead of who we are now and who we were.
